Despite the collapse of the airline sector, due to the coronavirus epidemic, Airbus limited the breakage with a net loss of 1.1 billion euros in 2020, according to the report published by the aircraft manufacturer on Thursday.

Airbus plans to deliver in 2021 the “same number of commercial aircraft as in 2020”, a sign that the European aircraft manufacturer does not expect an immediate rebound in the market. Last year, it delivered 566 aircraft, a third less than the previous year.
