Will the rise in gas prices affect your holidays? tell us

According to the recent barometer of Europ Assistance*, 73% of French people who go on holiday will do so by car, an essential means of transport when going to sunbathe at the beach, frolic in the mountains or stroll in the meadows. But with gasoline that has sometimes exceeded 2 euros per liter, some route changes may be necessary.

Are you planning to take the car this summer and the price of fuel will impact your stay? Are you going less far than usual? Take travelers on board to limit costs? Or are you going to rent a car directly on site to avoid a long and expensive crossing? And on site, will you pay more attention to your journeys? Will you go to the beach on foot? Your testimony interests us.

* The 2022 edition of the Europ Assistance and Ipsos Holiday Barometer was carried out in 15 countries including the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Italy, France, Spain, Switzerland , Germany, Austria, Portugal, Belgium, Poland, Czech Republic, Thailand and Australia. In each country, 1,000 consumers aged 18 and over participated in an online questionnaire. The survey was conducted between April 26 and May 16 and focused on consumers’ vacation plans and travel preferences.
