In Flaine-sur-Seine, the Renault plant “rents out” some of its employees.

After car sharing “shared employment”. The Renault plant in Flaine-sur-Seine (Yvelines) has just applied an ingenious system for hiring new employees. 40 of them signed a contract with the Alliance of Workers.

Simply put, these employees are not employed by Renault. They are employees of the association, which then provides them to companies, “loaning” them for the duration of the contract or a specific mission. It’s like a game, but with much more stability and visibility. “And above all, we are an association of employers. That is, we do not receive profit from the employment of these employees, it is not profitable, – says Karol Blancar, Deputy CEO of Alliance Employ. In addition, this device allows us to prepare the skills of tomorrow. »

The Flins case illustrates this aspect. In the midst of an industrial transition, Renault’s plant in Flaine-sur-Seine is unable to hire people on permanent contracts: the skills that will be involved in the coming years at the site as part of its used car transformation project have not yet been determined. precisely defined. Therefore, a diamond brand can hardly take risks by entering into long-term contracts.

“Guaranteed employment of motivated people”

“Compared to temporary employment agencies, Alliance Employ offers us the guarantee of hiring motivated people,” explains Stefan Radyut, Renault Plant and Refactory Project Manager. The people who were sent to us are much more involved. Since they already have permanent or long-term fixed-term contracts with Alliance Employ, they have a professional outlook, we feel it. This is important for us because we are in a delicate period when we need to be on trend! »

On the assembly lines, in the aisles of a factory that has produced thousands of Twingos, Clios or Zoés and employs some 2,000 workers today, team leaders are also conveying this renewed motivation. “For us, this is something important, this is my main concern,” says Baptiste. It’s hard to find good profiles because the competition is strong. »

The agreement was signed by the trade unions. CFDT refers to “supporting the project from the start”. “Now we would like fixed-term contracts to quickly become permanent,” insists one of its representatives.

Alliance Employ brings together 400 companies in six regions. It has 2,000 time-sharing employees.
