Vote of no confidence in pension reform: what did the deputies vote for?

Noon of suspense this Monday at the National Assembly. Uncertainty persisted until the last minute around the vote of Republican MPs and, finally, there were not enough of them to vote for a vote of no confidence introduced by the Lyot group to tip the scales.

Only 278 deputies voted for a vote of no confidence in Lyot. Therefore, it was rejected, since 287 votes were required to pass it. Only “nine small voices” were missing, Matilda Panot regretted Insoumise. Thus, the text of the pension reform was “adopted”, said Yael Braun-Pivé. Who voted for the Lyot group’s no-confidence vote? Lyot’s proposal received unanimous support from groups on the left. 149 MPs from Nupes voted in favor of the proposal, as well as 88 MPs from the RN as they announced upstream. On the other hand, not all Lyot deputies voted for this proposal, but only 18 of the 20 group.

Therefore, everything fell on the shoulders of the deputies of the Republic of Latvia. 19 of them (out of 61) voted for this proposal; 1/3 group.

Who voted for the RN proposal?

The second vote of no confidence was introduced by the RN, with only 94 deputies voting for it. Three LR deputies voted for the RN’s no-confidence vote: Maxime Mino, Pierre Cordier and Fabien di Filippo, as well as the Christian socialist Baptiste and two unregistered Véronique Besse and Nicolas Dupont-Aignan.
