Pensions: a spontaneous demonstration brought together a hundred people in Marseille

A spontaneous rally against the pension reform began this Saturday evening in Marseille, gathering, according to our colleagues from BFM Marseille, a hundred people.

The procession, made up mostly of young people, set off in the quiet of the Saint-Vincent-de-Paul church, located on the top of the Canebières, to reach the Old Port and then return to the Plain area. Despite some anti-police slogans and a burnt trash can near the Plains, no clashes with police have been recorded and no other spills have been noted.

Wild rallies, sometimes punctuated by clashes with police, have been recorded since Tuesday, the day the vote of no confidence in the government was rejected in the Assembly, across France. On Thursday, on the sidelines of the ninth day of mobilization against pension reform, clashes were recorded in several cities, including Paris, Rennes and Bordeaux, during which the town hall door was set on fire. Since the beginning of the movement in Marseille, there have been several overflows.
