The stock market rises by 1.59%, the biggest increase since the end of May, and recovers the 11,000 point mark

The Spanish Stock Exchange rose 1.59% on Wednesday and recovered the 11,000 point level, encouraged by the advance of the European markets and Wall Street, according to market data.

The reference indicator of the national parquet, the IBEX 35gained 172.8 points, that is 1.59%, the biggest rise since the end of May, to 11,071.6 points. This year it is up 9.6%.

The stock market rebounded after the previous fall and reversed its previous losses, supported by the advance of the major stocks, the main European stock markets and Wall Street, which remain at historic highs in some of its most important indices. Brent crude oil rose 0.82% to $85.35 after the release of data on crude oil reserves in the United States.

All major stocks rose: Santander Bank 2.58%; BBVA 1.71%, Telefonica 1.68%, Repsol 1.67%, Inditex 0.95% and Iberdrola 0.72%.
