A collection of 103 cards was sold for 750,000 dollars in the United States last January. But this year, two big obstacles stand in the way of the dreams of hundreds of thousands of children: shortages and inflation.

Victims of their own success, many Pokémon cards are simply not found in stores. And in this period of rising prices – especially energy prices – many households’ budgets are tighter.
