Naïs Pirollet, Lala & ce, Andrea Kotarac and Laureen Schein will make the news in 2022

2022 has just started. On this occasion, 20 Minutes presents four Lyonnais who could mark this new year in their respective fields.

Naïs Pirollet, stove genius

From the top of her 24 years, the young chef put everyone in agreement by winning last fall, the French selection of Bocuse d’Or and by becoming the first woman to defend the colors of France in this culinary competition, the most prestigious in the world. There is still a long way to go before he can dream of succeeding his mentor Davy Tissot. But Naïs Pirollet has resources and talent to spare. Next stop: the Bocuse d’Or Europe, on March 23 and 24 in Budapest. If this little genius of the kitchen is classified in the top ten candidates, she will pocket her ticket directly for the grand world final which will be played this time at home. It will be in January 2023 in Lyon during Sirha, the international catering, hotel and food trade fair.

Laureen Schein, queen of the loop

In the space of a few months, she was able to create the new Pantheon of curly, curly and frizzy hair. Laureen Schein, founder of La Belle Boucle, was a hit in 2021, achieving 7 million in turnover through her hairdressing salon and online store. Adored on social networks, contacted throughout France, this 26-year-old Croix-Roussienne aims to set up her franchise. During this new year, we will closely follow the announced opening of its second establishment in Lyon. And the test that it is preparing to launch in the South of France: an ephemeral pop-up which, if successful, can quickly become a springboard for exporting the concept to other cities.

Lala & ce, new figurehead of female rap

Originally, a clip telling the love story between two black women. In the end, 500,000 views on YouTube. In a few months, Mélanie Berthinier has become a figure of the new French rap scene, being even considered by some to be the best current French-speaking rapper. Better known under the pseudonym of Lala & ce, the young woman native of Bron, has chained the successes in 2021: a first album Everything Tasteful, critically acclaimed, and a musical Deadly Kiss on the Paris Bourse. The one who transgresses the codes of rap and constantly experiments, could continue her momentum in 2022. In January, she will be one of the headliners of the Hyper Week-end Festival. She will also be found at the Nuits Sonores de Lyon, where she will play behind the turntables on the night of May 25, 2022.

Andrea Kotarac, the rebellious of Marine Le Pen

Less than three years after his surprise turnaround, which saw him go from rebellious France to the National Rally, Andréa Koratac is called to play the leading political roles this year. The elected official, who chairs the RN group in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region, will be Marine Le Pen’s spokesperson during the presidential campaign. Campaign that the person concerned is to officially launch in Lyon, on February 4 and 5. Responsible in particular for questions of secularism, the thirty-something should not fail to occupy the media space in the coming months, in order to defend the ideas of the far-right candidate. Cédric Van Styvandael, the socialist mayor of Villeurbanne, is also called upon to scour the television sets to bring the ideas of Anne Hidalgo. Finally, Pierre Oliver, the LR mayor of the 2nd arrondissement of Lyon, has already announced that he will be part of Valérie Pécresse’s campaign. It remains to be seen what role will be assigned to it.
