The bill for the third wave of the Covid pandemic leaves 1,300 more unemployed and 4,200 jobs destroyed in the Castellón regions, according to data published this Tuesday by the Ministry of Labor and Social Economy. In addition, those affected by Temporary Employment Regulation Records (ERTE) also increase in the province due to restrictions in hospitality and commerce and stand at 4,500 affected at the end of the first month of the year, reports the Ministry of Inclusion and Social Security.

The services sector is the one that concentrates practically all of the new unemployed in January. A total of 1,334 workers in this economic activity have lost their jobs in the province.
