The Kooks: The Peruvian band Inzul will open the long-awaited concert

The company Move Concerts confirmed the participation of the indie pop group Inzul, as the musicians in charge of opening the concert of the indie soundtrack of a whole generation, The Kooks. The musical duo made up of Stefano Cedeño and Gian Franco Arias will take the stage to offer the best of their repertoire at Arena 1 on the Costa Verde.

In 2018, Inzul released his first album ‘Subterráneo’, an album with 10 rock songs, in which the guitars have a strong presence, traveling at times along paths typical of funk. The release was very well received by specialized critics, marking a milestone in the Peruvian independent scene.

They have also participated in festivals such as Vivo por el Rock (PE), Selvámonos (PE), Huancayo Indie Festival (PE), Primavera Sound (ES) and are currently preparing their next releases with collaborations from important national artists.

Over the years, The Kooks, fronted by Luke Pritchard, have become mainstays of UK alternative music with an illustrious career that began with the release of the iconic debut album ‘Inside In/Inside Out’ in 2006. .

The album was a best-seller and went quadruple platinum thanks to tracks like the BRIT Award-nominated “She Moves in Her Own Way,” “You Don’t Love Me” and her biggest hit “Naive”. The debut album is considered a cult piece among its fans and now, thanks to streaming, a new generation of university students has managed to discover the album and make it an essential classic to date.

The Kooks have enjoyed an impressive rise to fame following the release of their second album, ‘Konk’, which reached number one in the UK. They have since released three more albums with their most recent ‘Let’s Go Sunshine’ in 2018.
