Paramount unveils the title of the next “Mission: Impossible”, as well as a trailer

CinemaCon provided news on one of next year’s most anticipated blockbusters. Mission: Impossible 7, the next installment in the saga which features Tom Cruise in the guise of agent Ethan Hunt, now has a title. Paramount has announced that the film will be titled Mission: Impossible Dead Reckoning – Part 1. And to accompany this feature film, Tom Cruise appeared at the convention through a pre-recorded video, described by Deadline.

True to his reputation as a man of action, the actor landed in the image on the wing of an airplane. “Sorry for the extra noise, as you can see we are shooting the last installment of Impossible mission… We are making this film for the big screen in your wonderful cinemas,” he says, while presumably on the set of Mission: Impossible 8 (the two films were shot one after the other).

The chain

In the same sequence, we can see director Christopher McQuarrie in his own plane, who addresses his actor: “We have to go, we lose the light”. The two devices start by “rolling” in the air, a way of giving an idea of ​​the kind of stunts, always more spectacular, that we should see in the next two opuses.

The first part of Dead Reckoning is due out on July 14, 2023, while the next film (which will probably be titled Dead Reckoning – Part 2although nothing official has been announced) is scheduled for June 2024.
