Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda are moved by the participation of Dolly Parton in the last season of “Grace and Frankie”

The second part of the seventh and final season of Grace and Frankie has just landed on Netflix and it’s already time to say goodbye to the duo formed by Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda on screen. Nevertheless, we can rejoice in the many surprises that punctuate these final episodes, and especially the presence of Dolly Parton who came to say hello to her two friends!

“It’s not just the fact that Dolly is participating. What matters is how it appears. The way the story involves her. It’s just beyond perfect. We were both so moved when she turned her chair to appear,” Jane Fonda told Entertainment Tonight.

Moved and proud

If Lily Tomlin and Jane Fonda are obviously sad to see their series end, they are nevertheless very satisfied with the work accomplished.

“We are very proud of it. We love this series. Since we are over 80 years old. The writing is good and we’re really friends in real life, and I think it shows,” said Lily Tomlin. “I think it brings hope to people. It allows them to feel less afraid of aging. »
