Indecopi orders to block series and anime piracy sites such as Cuevana and AnimeFLV

The National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi) has just issued its decision and orders Internet service providers to block different pages that violate copyright in the country. Between the platforms streaming Included in the order are Cuevana and AnimeFLV.

The Claro operator has indicated that, under Resolution No. 0198-2022/CDA-INDECOPI, the blocking of anime, movie and music download websites has been requested for not respecting copyright. This blocking would be done through the DNS mode.

It should be noted that, through its Copyright Commission, the public entity has already issued closure orders against other web pages that offer free paid content, which in turn obtain profits thanks to advertising. For example, Futbol En Vivo Total or Roja Directa are some of the pages closed so far.
