Interpol in Lima: Toño Jáuregui will open the show of the American band

famous american band Interpol arrives in Lima to offer a concert on November 16 at the Parque de la Exposicion Amphitheater and the organization has just confirmed that the outstanding musician Toño Jáuregui will be in charge of opening the musical event.

“I am very grateful for this opportunity and I have the commitment to live up to the tremendous invitation and spectacular band”, Jauregui commented in a press release.

The national artist is in the middle of promoting his book “Beyond Libido” and the launch of his new album “Fantasma del Ayer”.

Toño will offer a repertoire of pure Libido hits, in its special format, as well as songs from his two solo albums: “Creciente” (2017) and “Fantasma del Ayer” (2022).

Undoubtedly, the Interpol show will be special because the Americans’ concert coincides with the release of their new album and will be a review of the band’s career, which celebrates more than 20 years of great musical moments with hymns like “Obstacle 1 ″, “Evil”, “Slow Hands”, “All The Rage Back Home” and more.

Interpol has just released their new record material “The Other Side of Make-Believe”, which began remotely in 2020 and in early 2021 brought the members together to develop new songs in a rented house in the Catskills. The album was finished in England with producers Alan Moulder and Flood (Mark Ellis), whose joint credits include U2, Depeche Mode, the Smashing Pumpkins and Nine Inch Nails.

Tickets to see Interpol in Lima are on sale at Teleticket (points of sale and web).
