Harrison Ford will be the new general ‘Thunderbolt Ross’ in the Marvel Cinematic Universe

It’s official. The actor Harrison Ford will take on the role of General Thaddeus ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The Oscar winner will play his new character in the movie “Captain America: New World Order”, according to the media Deadline.

Ford joined the cast made up of Anthony Mackie, Shira Haas, Tim Blake Nelson and Carl Lumbly.

While the plot of the new movie is being kept under wraps, actor Anthony Mackie will reprise his role as Sam Wilson, who took on the role of Captain America in the hit Disney Plus series The Falcon and the Winter Soldier.

Previously, the role of General ‘Thunderbolt’ Ross was played by William Hurt, a renowned actor who passed away in March 2022.
