Bárbara Mori and Christian Meier will star in a film together again: “Mistura”, a culinary drama

Latin American interpreters Barbara Mori Y Christian Meier they will star in “Mistura”, an original Peruvian drama set in Lima in 1960. The film will be directed by Ricardo de Montreuil and produced by Ivan Orlic.

More than 15 years ago, Mori and Meier collaborated on the filmmaker’s debut “La Mujer de Mi Hermano” (2006) and return for this highly anticipated production.

In the next Peruvian drama, Bárbara Mori gives life to Norma, who, after being abandoned by her husband (played by Christian Meier), must face the prejudices of the elite of the Lima society of the 60s. Due to the lack of money, the woman will have to join the community she saw with indifference to launch a restaurant.

Thanks to this, you will discover and fall in love with the real Peru and its diversity, both culinary and demographic.

The cast of “Mistura” is completed by the Peruvian actors Magaly Solier in the role of Rosa, Norma’s domestic worker and cook, and Marco Zunino as the television presenter Kiko Ledgard.

Meanwhile, the direction of photography will be in charge of Karina Silva (“No Man of God’s”) and; The production direction is under the command of the Peruvian Enid Campos, who has been a producer of Peruvian films such as “Dioses” by Josué Méndez and “Retablo” by Álvaro Delgado.

It should be noted that the filming of the culinary program will take place this 2023; although the start date has not been specified.
