Tania Libertad says goodbye to Pablo Milanés with an emotional message: “We are going to miss you”

After confirming the death of the Cuban singer-songwriter Pablo MilanesAt the age of 79, after being hospitalized for more than 10 days in Madrid (Spain) due to an oncohematological disease, the singer Tania Libertad turned to her social networks to say goodbye.

Through her official Instagram account, the singer shared a fragment of a video in which she appears singing next to the Cuban artist the song “El primer amor”. Along with the clip, she wrote a heartfelt farewell message.

Pablo Milanés was one of the most recognized voices of Cuban music. In addition, the musician was the founder and creator of the Nueva Trova sound along with other renowned artists such as Noel Nicola and Silvio Rodríguez.

In a statement posted on Facebook, Milanés’ relatives revealed that the remains of the Cuban composer will be laid to rest on Wednesday, November 23, in the Cervantes Hall of the Casa de América (Madrid) between 10:30 am and 3:30 pm ( Spain time). People who wish to attend the wake must enter through the Plaza de los Cibeles.
