Tourista debuts collaboration with Mexican rapper Lng/SHT: “Everything gives me turns”

As part of their new releases, the national band tourist premiered his most recent single “Todo Me Da Vueltas” on his social networks. The song that has the collaboration of the Mexican rapper Lng/SHT is available on all digital platforms and the video can be seen on the group’s YouTube channel.

The song follows the line of fusion that the group has experienced during their career. Previously, the band fused rock with Andean sounds, going through dembow and trap on their latest album “Fantasmas”. In “Todo Me Da Vueltas”, Tourista proposes a combination of 90s rock with some trap bases and rap moments reinforced with the participation of Lng/SHT.

“It is a tribute to the rock we listened to when we were kids and the encounter with the sounds of current urban music. We’ve even included a modified ‘sample’ from the band Pixies, which complements the concept and lyrics of the song. Gastón (Lng/SHT) immediately connected with the song and agreed to join the project without thinking twice, he is a great artist but above all an excellent person”commented Rui Pereira, vocalist of the band.

The video was directed by Santiago Rey De Castro together with Aluzcine Films and its general producer César Fajardo who created the main idea. where they also joined friends of the band who participated in the scene of a party where everyone has fun and Rui (vocalist) seems a little lost between the excesses and the madness of the night.

“The song talks about a difficult stage in my life. I went through a very strong depression and tried to channel it in the worst way. Happily I was able to become aware of what was happening and began to improve. I know that many people have gone through or are going through something like this and maybe this song can make them feel understood or at least accompanied in this part of their process.”adds Rui Pereira.

After playing in front of thousands of people at the National Stadium as the opening show for urban singer Bad Bunny, accompanied by national artists such as Nero Lvigi and Vijay Kesh, Tourista continues to work on new music and prepares for his next performances before closing 2022.
