Crowd on the first date
On the night of last Tuesday, the first date of the tour “Between the sea and palm trees” took place in Lima. The event was scheduled to start at 9:00 pm at the Arena Peru; but, even before Juan Luis Guerra went on stage, the attendees began to complain about the large crowd of people inside the venue.
In videos and photographs broadcast on social networks, the large number of people in the VIP area was revealed; even, people are seen in areas with poor visibility of the stage.
Outside the venue, some people were upset because the staff in charge of the show closed the entrance doors and did not let the public through, despite having their tickets.
For its part, the National Institute for the Defense of Competition and the Protection of Intellectual Property (Indecopi) has also initiated an investigation against the promoter of Juan Luis Guerra’s concert.
“Personnel from the Indecopi Inspection Directorate attended the first date of the event this Tuesday, November 22, to gather preliminary information”, he specified in his Instagram post.
Likewise, it was learned that inspectors from the public institution will also be present at the second concert of the Dominican artist in Lima, in order to protect the rights of consumers.
Transportation after the show
Through social networks, the Urban Transport Authority reported that they will offer the “Bilibusina” service to transfer attendees after the Juan Luis Guerra concert that will take place this November 22 and 23 at the Arena Peru in Santiago de Surco.
The transportation service will be available from 11:30 pm and will have Jockey Plaza as initial stops to go to Ate and Evitamiento to move to San Miguel. The user fee will be 4 soles and can be paid through the Lima Pass or Metropolitano cards.
