Harry Styles in Colombia: 279 people had health complications during the concert

The former member of One Direction appeared at the Live Coliseum, in the municipality of Cota, Colombia, where he gathered more than 20,000 fans, of whom 279 people have reportedly received care due to health complications.

Through a statement from Multiple Service & Supplies, Multiple SAS and Medikplus IPS, entities in charge of providing health services at the concert, the patients were treated “Mainly due to anxiety attacks, hyperventilation and/or headache… Only one transfer had to be made due to tachycardia”.

Due to the poor ventilation of the venue and the large crowd, attendees in the Platinum area felt overwhelmed by the intense heat, which caused some fainting. This caused Harry Styles himself to stop the concert to ask for order and calm.

“If you can open up a small space there, please, are you okay there? I’m so excited to be here and it’s going to be an amazing show, but the most important thing is that we all stay safe. There are many people here and it is hot, what we will do is that everyone who is on the floor will take a step back ”, were the words of the artist, as reported by Los 40 Colombia.

Likewise, photographs and videos have been shared on social networks that show the security shortcomings and how the people in the area closest to the stage were getting closer to the point of suffocating those who were further on.
