Los Pakines turn 50 and celebrate with a special show in Lima

Musical group The Pakines It celebrates 50 years since its creation and celebrates it in a big way with a party called “Jaraneando sin parar”, a concert in which they will show off their traditional “elegant sound”.

The musical encounter will take place next Saturday, December 17 at the Scencia de La Molina Convention Center, under the production of Sachún. Tickets are still on sale through Teleticket.

The show “Jaraneando sin parar” will have the participation of special guests such as: Los Kipus, Ronald Hidalgo, Sebastián Landa, and the music of the Quinta Avenida group. In addition, the animation will be in charge of Koky Salgado.

Regarding their 50-year career, the brothers Alejandro and José Torres Liza commented that, to celebrate half a century of musical presence “It takes a lot of work and discipline, you also have to be attentive to musical currents”.

Los Pakines boasts a long list of musical successes under their “elegant sound” label. His hits include “El Venao”, “A donde iras”, “Amor de fantasía”, “Caramelo de menta”, among others.

“Los Pakines” was part of the golden age of Peruvian cumbia in the early 1970s, and has a large number of musical productions. He received the 2007 APDAYC Award for Best Classical Tropical Group.
