Argentinian rapper paulo londra premiered the video for the single “Tenso”, which is part of his second studio album, “Back to the Game”, the Warner Music Latina record company reported this Wednesday.
The promotional video, recorded in the city of Buenos Aires and reflecting different moments of a couple’s relationship, accumulates almost 600,000 views on YouTube less than 24 hours after being released.
“Tense” is one of the 16 songs that make up the album “Back to the Game”, released on November 23 and which contains collaborations with Ed Sheeran, Travis Barker (Blink-182), Feid, Timbaland, Duki and LIT killah.
Londra presented the album, with which a three-year record silence ends, surprisingly with a free “avant premier” in Parque de las Tejas in her native Córdoba and in front of more than 50,000 people, as the record label pointed out, with Headquarters in Miami (USA).
The album reached number two on Spotify’s Top Global Debut Albums chart and number three on the same platform’s Top Debut Albums USA chart, and at this point “Back to the Game” counts. “with more than 482 million combined views worldwide”as Warner points out.
“He has proven to be one of the most iconic and versatile artists in the Latin urban genre releasing single after single, cementing his status as a true genius in music.”adds the seal in reference to what this 2022 has meant for the Argentine, during which he accumulated more than 1,000 reproductions only on Spotify.
“Plan A”, another of the album’s singles, reached second place on the global Spotify chart within hours of its release, a milestone for a song by a solo Argentine artist.
This 24-year-old figure of urban music, who got his start in “freestyle” battles in his country, has collaborated throughout his short but rising career with artists such as A Boogie Wit Da Hoodie, Becky G and De La Ghetto. (With information from EFE)
