David Nostas Antezana, lost his life this last Wednesday, January 11, and with great sadness, his work colleagues announced the death of the well-known “Busca Personas Latino.” Our compatriot had solved more than 46 thousand cases of disappearance worldwide, since this was his full-time job. This was confirmed on Twitter by the journalist Marco Bazalar.
“To the entire Epensa family, friends and related media, I have to communicate the sensitive death of David Nostas Antezana, the well-known “Pusca Personas” who did so much for our society with his exemplary service. Great person, better human being. Rest in peace David,” he wrote.
The Arequipa journalist was not only dedicated to looking for people, but also pets. David helped families from all over Latin America with the purpose of being able to reunite them with his loved ones, although at first he began with the work of looking for delinquent debtors from different financial entities.

HOW DID YOU START WITH YOUR PEOPLE SEARCH WORK?
In an interview, David Nostas himself revealed that he started looking for people after a coworker asked him for help.
“One fine day, a boy who works with me asked me to look for a sister I hadn’t heard from for many years, since they had been separated when they were very young, I accepted the challenge, found her and had my first family reunion, that was enough for me to fall madly in love with this humanitarian work,” he said.
It should be noted that the journalist from Arequipa had a web page where he could publish for free about the disappearance of a person.
