Before the release of No Time To Die (To die can wait, in French) on October 6, Daniel Craig will recount the fifteen years spent in Agent 007’s costume in the documentary Being James Bond. This forty-five minute retrospective will unveil previously unseen footage as well as conversations between actor and producers Barbara Broccoli and Michael G. Wilson.
If he had been reluctant to find the license to kill in another episode of the franchise, Daniel Craig now seems grateful to have finally accepted. “I loved every second of these movies, and especially this one (No Time To Die ) because I woke up every morning with the chance to work with you, and it was one of the greatest honors of my life, ”says Daniel Craig in an excerpt relayed by Deadline.
For their part, the producers salute the talent of the actor for having taken the hero of Ian Flemming to an “extraordinary” level. A good understanding displayed indeed very far from the remarks made by the British actor in 2015 when he said he preferred to “cut his veins” rather than return to the set.
Being James Bond, directed by Baillie Walsh, will be available to stream for free on Apple TV from September 7 through October 7.
