After a short break, Sak returns with the song “Kill the king (political pig)”. In it, the Peruvian musician gives his opinion on the latest events that have been affecting the country, but without using words. His criticism goes through the melancholy and sadness of an experimental piano and classical bases to which are added excerpts from statements by well-known politicians.
“The theme collects the bad memories of Peruvians and shows them to raise awareness and try to build a better country“, Explain.
It is not his only goal. sak seeks to encourage another type of production of protest songs. It’s not just about playing guitar and cranking up the distortion, it’s about finding new ways to express what you feel.
As is remembered, Sak debuted with “Life as a Russian roulette”, a song in which he reflected on the fine line that exists between life and death. Like “Kill the King”, it also had a video clip.
