Humberto Zurita: actor of “La reina del sur” comes to Peru with “Daddy dear”

Humberto Zuritathe renowned Mexican actor, will perform for the first time in Peru on May 20 and 21 as the protagonist of the play “Daddy Dear” to be held at the Teatro del Colegio San Agustín.

“Dear Daddy” is a Mexican theater classic written by Rodolfo Rodríguez that has been causing a sensation in the United States and Mexico, in which Humberto Zurita holds the stellar role and also directs the cast that they make up in the foreground Stephanie Salas and the actors lambda garcia, Rodrigo Vidal and Ivonne Zurita. The production is in charge of Gabriel Varela.

Considered as a thoughtful, surprising comedy, where it talks about the great love that a father can feel for his daughter, and precisely the spectators will witness the great characterization of Humberto Zurita, where they will be able to see him as they never thought before.

With a vast career of more than 40 years, Humberto Zurita has also developed his talent as a director and producer, he has several Tv and Novelas Awards, Ariel Awards, Ace Awards, People en Español Awards and La Maravilla Awards; And as if that were not enough, he formed a production company with his brother Gerardo and his remembered wife Christian Bach, making many productions for the main television networks.

Zurita’s most recent works are his participation in “Queen of the South” as Epifanio Vargas, “100 days to fall in love” as Ramiro Rivera, “La Querida del Centauro” as Benedicto Suárez, “El Galán”, “How to survive single”, “Living at the wrong time”, “El Candidate” among others; and let us remember his notable participation in the soap operas “Encadenados” as Germán, “De pura sangre” as Alberto Salerno, “El maleficio” as Jorge de Martino, “El derecho de nacer” as Alberto Limonta and “Soledad” among others.

The performances to be held at the Colegio San Agustín Theater are for Saturday the 20th at 7:00pm and 9:30pm, and Sunday the 21st at 6:00pm and 8:30pm respectively.
