Kalimba denounced for sexual abuse

On March 16, the singer and actress Melissa Galindo surprised everyone by denouncing improper touching of nothing more than the balladeer, kalimba. Through a video, the artist recounted that on two occasions the interpreter of “Tocando Fondo” touched her without her consent, he even proposed that they have sexual relations, which she did not accept.

However, Kalima and his lawyers only limited themselves to denying the accusations and affirmed that they will take legal action against him for defamation and moral damage, since the singer has lost job offers as a result of this complaint.

The issue became more serious when Galindo decided to file a complaint with the authorities, initiating criminal proceedings against Kalimba.

“We inform you that Melissa Galindo decided to legally denounce her attacker before the corresponding authorities for the crime of aggravated sexual abuse,” reads a document signed by the law firm Riojas Orozco, Castañón y Asociados, who represent the artist.

In addition, they asked for empathy for the singer, since the Mexican singer assured that he has sufficient evidence to prove that Melissa Galindo’s statements are false and that her lawyers would take care of cleaning up her image.
