Known as one of the classic films in cinema history, “Psychosis” (1960) -film directed by Alfred Hitchcock- will be re-released in theaters as part of the new cycle of films organized by the UVK cinema chain. The public will be able to enjoy this cinematographic work from next week.

The pThe film directed by Alfred Hitchcock will premiere through the UVK Multicines chain next Thursday, April 6 and will remain on the billboard until Wednesday, April 12.
The places where the tape will be broadcast are UVK Platino Panorama in the district of Surco and UVK San Martín in downtown Lima. This version will be seen by the public with the original version of Hitchcock with an additional 13 seconds.
Hitchcock’s “Psycho” follows the story of Marion Crane (Janet Leigh), a young real estate secretary who can’t marry her lover Sam Loomis (John Gavin). One day, her boss entrusts her with 40 thousand dollars in cash so that she deposits it in the bank; however, the money will never reach her destination and she will suffer at the hands of Norman Bates (Anthony Perkins).
“A Phoenix secretary goes on the run with $40,000, staying at the motel of Norman Bates, a deeply disturbed young man living with his controlling mother.”, points out the official synopsis.
Directed by Alfred Hitchcock, the film stars actress Janet Leigh as Marion Crane. Likewise, Anthony Perkins and John Gavin participate on screen.

He did not get any golden statuettes; although she did win a Golden Globe for Best Supporting Actress for Janet Leigh.
