Let’s cook with Fundades 2023: A unique culinary experience with a generous mission

In an event that combines the best of haute cuisine and solidarity, the long-awaited sixteenth edition of “Cocinemos con Fundades” will take place on June 1 at Casa Prado, Miraflores. This charity dinner, organized by the Fundades Group In alliance with the Wong supermarket chain, it promises a unique culinary experience at the hands of renowned chefs and with the aim of raising funds for social programs.

There are 13 prominent representatives of Peruvian gastronomy who will surprise diners with their innovative and creative proposals, including Mitsuharu Tsumura from Maido, Pía León from Kojlle, Andrés Rodriguez from Astrid y Gastón, James Berckemeyer from Cosme, Jaime Pesaque of Mayta and Marilú Madueño of the Huaca Pucllana.

The menu is made up of interesting culinary offerings such as Baan’s artichoke and miso dumplings with dashi butter, Merito’s prawn curry, Osso’s picaña and marrow risotto, and Troppo’s plinth agnolotti.

According to Viviana Castillo, general coordinator of the event, “Let’s cook with Fundades allows us to combine our passion for gastronomy with corporate social responsibility. In addition to enjoying an exceptional dinner, companies have the opportunity to establish strategic alliances and strengthen the relationship with their customers”.

Casa Prado, an old and emblematic house in the heart of Miraflores, will be the perfect setting for this solidarity evening. “The beauty of the space and its inclusive vocation reinforce the motto we have chosen: ‘Our kitchen unites us’”, adds Castillo.

The gourmet dining experience will be accompanied by live music, a surprise touch that will set the perfect mood for the occasion. The carefully selected wines will be in charge of Carlos Neira, José Bracamonte and Jorge Ode, renowned Peruvian sommeliers who will provide the best selection to pair with the chefs’ exquisite dishes.

In addition to enjoying an unforgettable night, attendees will contribute to the sustainability of important social initiatives. The funds raised will go to shelters for abandoned children, rehabilitation centers for young people with disabilities, training and job placement programs, and the University for Andean Development located in Lircay, one of the districts with the highest poverty rate in Peru.
