The success of the corridos lying down continues its worldwide consolidation after the success of the collaboration between the Mexican artist Peso Pluma and the Argentine bizarre in one of his renowned sessions, which reached 15 million views and broke records in less than a day.
At the moment, the video of the session, uploaded to YouTube by Bizarrap himself less than 24 hours ago, has more than 15 million views and, according to Rolling Stone magazine, beat on Thursday night, the day of its release, the record for views in the first hour, when it accumulated 4.1 million views.
Hassan Emilio Kabande Laija is the real name of the 23-year-old from Zapopan (Mexico) who has become a musical phenomenon with his raspy voice and his controversial “corridos war.”
In addition, he became the first Mexican to lead the global Spotify list, and performed at the iconic and world-renowned Coachella festival in California, United States.
With only three years in the industry, the singer has managed to position his music among the most listened to on music platforms and has been part of the US Billboard Hot 100 list five times, a mark never before achieved by a Mexican.
Kabande has made songs together with other current exponents of the so-called “corridos lying down”, such as Natanael Cano and Junior H, but also with reggaeton artists such as Blessd, Yng Lvcas and the producer Ovy On The Drums.
In addition, the young man from Jalisco created Doble P Records a little over a month ago, the new record label led by Kabande himself.
For his part, the success of Argentine producer Gonzalo Julián Conde, real name of Bizarrap, exploded when he did sessions with international artists such as Residente or Shakira, and some of those works earned him four Latin Grammy nominations.
In 2020 he was the most listened to Argentine artist in the world and in 2021 he had four Latin Grammy nominations under the category of “Producer of the Year” and “Best New Artist”.
