Dwayne Johnson regrets exposing his disagreements with Vin Diesel to the public on the set of “Fast & Furious”

In 2016, in the middle of filming Fast & Furious 8, Dwayne Johnson had attacked one of his colleagues without naming him in an Instagram post and it was not difficult to understand that the person concerned was Vin Diesel. There followed a quarrel that has never really been settled between the two stars. Today, Dwayne Johnson regrets posting this message.

“It wasn’t my best day to share this. I should not have done that. Because at the end of the day, it goes against my DNA. I don’t share things like that. And I take care of that kind of *** *** away from the public. They don’t need to know it. That’s why I say it was not my best day, ”he assured Vanity Fair.

However, the ex-wrestler does not reconsider the remarks he made which, for him, were entirely justified.

A “firestorm”

“I meant what I said. Sure. I mean what I say when I say it. But expressing it publicly was not the right thing to do, ”continued Dwayne Johnson, before implying that he had said out loud what many were thinking on the set of the film.

“It caused a firestorm. And oddly enough, it’s as if each member of the team had found their way to me and had quietly thanked me or sent me a note, ”he said.

Still, the two actors then saw each other in private to wash their dirty laundry, which allowed them to agree on the fact that they did not agree, whether on philosophically or concerning the making of a film.
