Benji Gregory, actor who played Alf’s boy, has died aged 46

Benji Gregory, actor who played Brian Tanner in the series “Alf”, died at the age of 46 after allegedly suffering from heatstroke after falling asleep in his vehicle on June 13 in Arizona, TMZ revealed.

According to reports, the actor and former US soldier went to the bank to carry out some paperwork, but he suffered a heat stroke, which ended his life and that of his dog Hans, both of whom were found dead.

The Maricopa County Medical Examiner’s Office is still investigating the cause of death. Rebecca Gregory, the actor’s sister, revealed that he suffered from bipolar disorder, depression and sleep complications, which kept him awake for many days.

Benji became famous after playing Brian Tanner, Alf’s curious child companion. His popularity increased between 1986 and 1990, during the 101 episodes of the series.
