Latin Grammy 2021: time, channel, nominees and everything you need to know about the great gala of Spanish music

Like every year, the best of music in our language will receive fair recognition. The Latin Grammy Awards (Latin Grammy) will take place this Thursday, November 18 and we will be able to enjoy three and a half hours of transmission in which some of the greatest Latin artists will be present.

The 22nd edition of the great event will be in person and will take place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada (United States). In addition, the president of the Latin Recording Academy, Manuel Abud, pointed out that this year more than 20 thousand applications for musical works were received, the highest number in the history of the awards.

At the 2021 Latin Grammys, Colombian artist Camilo holds the highest number of nominations, with a total of 10; including important categories like Record of the Year, Song of the Year and Album of the Year. Juan Luis Guerra follows with 6 nominations, while C. Tangana, Paula Arenas, Bad Bunny, Mon Laferte, Pablo Alborán and Electric Diamante have 4 each.

Where to see the Latin Grammy live and online?

In the United States, the Latin Grammy gala can be seen through the Univisión channel. For Latin America, the gala is exclusive to the channels TNT (live) and TNT Series (delayed).

Schedules to see the delivery of the Latin Grammy

The event will take place this Thursday, November 18, starting at 7 pm (Eastern time) in the United States, which translates to 8 pm in Peru. Here is a list of the start time of the gala in various countries in the region and the world.

  • USA: 4 pm (Pacific time), 7 pm (Eastern time)
  • Mexico: 7 p.m.
  • Ecuador, Colombia and Peru: 8 p.m.
  • Chile: 10 p.m.
  • Argentina: 10 p.m.
  • Spain: 3 a.m. on November 19

Who will sing?

As every year, the gala will feature the participation of prominent stars of music in Spanish and Portuguese. And it is Bad Bunny the main star, who will sing while waiting for the results of his five nominations, which include Record of the Year and Best Urban Music Album.

Likewise, there will be a show by Farina and Anitta, who will join Gloria Estefan, Carlinhos Brown, Laércio da Costa, Pedro Capó and Diego Torres to start the event with the interpretation of three songs: “Opening doors”, “When there is love ”and“ Magalenha ”.
