Veltrac Music Festival: this will be the event to develop emerging musical projects in Peru

The Veltrac production company announced the first edition of the Veltrac Music Festival, a new showcase for the development of emerging musical projects in Peru. This cultural initiative will be carried out in a hybrid version, and includes a market platform aimed at professional music agents (called VMF Pro) and a series of live concerts in a streaming and face-to-face version (under the name VMF Showcase).

Those attending the Veltrac Music Festival will be able to choose from among the activities of the VMF Pro, a market specially designed for networking, led by leading professionals in national and international music management or the VMF Showcases concerts, a series of musical interventions that They will take place in different places in Lima with emerging national and international musicians.

Among the international panelists who will participate in VMF Pro stand out:

• Nils Bernstein, former representative of important bands such as Nirvana, Interpol, Yo La Tengo, Kurt Vile, etc.
• Leila Cobo, one of the most recognized experts in Latin music and vice president of Billboard Latino.
• Ruben Albarran, lead singer of the Mexican band Café Tacvba.
• Francisca Valentina, one of the most recognized voices of Latin American pop and founder of the feminist platform and festival Ruidosa; among other national and international experts from the music industry.

Among the names of confirmed international artists are:

• The Colombian electronic music duo Mnkybsnss.
• Alternative singer and pianist Duplat.
• The Costa Ricans Nakury & Barzo, owners of a powerful sound based on hip hop and rap in Spanish.
• The Argentine multi-instrumentalist and composer Silvina Moreno.
• Among the national proposals, the face-to-face showcases of bands such as Kanaku y el Tigre, Hit la Rosa, Nuria Saba, Gianluca Zanellatto, among others, stand out. Also, the national bands Los Lagartos, Los Estrobocópicos, Attawalpa, Perros Santos and many more will perform virtually.
