Matt Damon sold his Pacific Palisades home for $ 18 million

Matt Damon has managed to separate from his Los Angeles home. According to Dirt, the actor managed to sell this sumptuous and no less immense villa of 1,250 square meters located in the upscale district of Pacific Palisades for 18 million dollars. Far less than he hoped to get by putting it on the market for $ 21million almost a year ago, but still more than the price he had bought it for.

The star of Jason Bourne and his wife Luciana Barroso had set their sights on the home where they enjoyed raising their children a decade ago for $ 15 million. Built in 2004, this seven-bedroom house blends Southeast Asian influences with Californian modernism. On arrival, the coldness inherent in its large rectilinear volumes is counterbalanced by the omnipresence of varnished mahogany woodwork.

Finally, the house has a large gym in the basement as well as a beautiful swimming pool. But then, why part with it?

Change of scenery

Matt Damon has no real interest in keeping such a property on the West Coast even though he now lives in New York with his family. In 2018, the star of The Last Duel had also offered a townhouse in Brooklyn for the modest sum of $ 16.7 million.

However, Matt Damon is a little more cramped there since this mansion built in 1903 offers only 570 square meters of living space.
