Dwayne Johnson doesn’t want to return alongside Vin Diesel in ‘Fast and Furious’ franchise

Dwayne Johnson apparently did not appreciate Vin Diesel’s attempted reunion. Last November, the interpreter of Dominic Torretto in Fast and Furious had “implored” his colleague to return to the cult franchise, playing on the sensitive chord, insisting in particular on the fact that his own children called The Rock “Uncle Dwayne” and that the late Paul Walker would have wished them to reconcile.

Words that did not touch the former wrestler, as he revealed in an interview for CNN.

“Last June, when Vin and I were not in touch on social media, I told him directly – and in private – that I would not be returning to the franchise. I was firm but cordial in my words and said that I would always support the cast and encourage the franchise to succeed, but there was no way I would return. I also spoke privately with my Universal partners, who have all been supportive of me because they understand the problem, ”he explained.

Manipulator

Dwayne Johnson goes even further, claiming Vin Diesel is trying to manipulate him into bringing him back.

Released last June, Fast 9, the latest installment in the franchise, grossed $ 721 million at the international box office.
