Trailer reveals first images of sixth and final season

The long wait for fans will soon end. The BBC unveiled the trailer for the sixth and final season of Peaky Blinders.

These six episodes should have been broadcast at the beginning of last year but their shooting, scheduled for 2020, had been postponed due to the Covid pandemic.

A feature film to come

The preview delivered by the British channel is very dark. “We find the family in an extremely perilous situation and the stakes have never been higher. We think it will be the best of all seasons and are sure our wonderful fans will love it, ”said series creator Steven Knight a year ago.

Once the last episode aired – no programming date has been made official yet – the faithful of Peaky Blinders will be entitled to an extension on the big screen. “I’m going to write the film that will take place and that will be shot in Birmingham. And will be in a way the end of the adventure for Peaky Blinders as we know it, ”said Steven Knight at the BFI London Film Festival this fall. This cinematic conclusion will not be shot until 2023, however.
