The question of the day: how to vote in the Luces 2021 Awards?

The time of year in which the Luces Awards, a gala organized by the Luces section of the newspaper El Comercio that celebrates the best samples of Peruvian culture and entertainment in the last year through the vote of our readers.

It has been a long journey for the Luces Awards, which in 2022 will be 18 years old. This year is particularly exciting as the Podcast / Digital Show category has been added for the first time, reflecting the growing importance of these types of productions today.

These join the categories of other years such as Television, Cinema, Gastronomy, Music, Visual Arts and Letters, creating a selection that covers the range of interests of our readers.

The purpose of this note is to illustrate how to participate in the voting, which will be open until February 13.

To vote, you just have to go to the website http://premiosluces.elcomercio.pe/ which will show all the categories in which you can vote. The page is enabled to work also on smartphones.

The process of choosing your candidate is simple: you just have to click on the box to the right of your favorite until a check appears.

Once you’ve finished voting, just go to the bottom of the page and hit the “Vote” button. A message will appear asking you to confirm your decision, so if you are sure of it, you just have to click accept.

The first time you vote in a category, you will be asked to enter an account to identify yourself. This can be your Facebook account or your El Comercio account, which you can create for free.

The system will confirm your selections with the message “Your vote has been sent successfully”, for which you will have to click on accept. From there you are free to vote in the other categories in the same way as described above. Your vote will be decisive in choosing the winners.
