Frozen breaded fish recalled by Auchan and Carrefour

Be careful if you have recently bought breaded fish in a Carrefour or Auchan store. The two brands are recalling a batch potentially dangerous to health, reports Capital.

The products concerned are “Croustibat – Petits Trésors 450 g” from the Findus brand, sold in the frozen section. They potentially contain foreign bodies, in this case small pieces of white plastic, explains the Rappel site. conso.gouv on its reminder sheet for this Friday.

Dangerous ingestion

The batch concerned bears the number L2012CL066 and the date of durability of the products has been set at 31/01/2024. Attention, only products whose production time is between 8:15 p.m. and 8:50 p.m. are concerned. The recalled breaded fish have been sold throughout France since January 26.

Ingestion of these foreign bodies presents a “risk of injury or adverse effects”. Consumers are therefore asked not to eat them and destroy them or return them to the store for a refund. A few days earlier, Intermarché had recalled minced chicken for a similar risk.
