The maps of the national aerobiological monitoring network (RNSA) do not lie: the pollen rate is abnormally high in the air of the Côte-d’Or. According to France Bleu Bourgogne, the grasses would be in question. In full pollination, these large allergenic grasses risk during the next weeks to cause hay fevers, conjunctivitis and other pathologies such as asthma for the most serious cases.
Some advice to limit allergies
Peak grass pollination should not be reached before June. According to an allergist interviewed by our colleagues, the intensity of pollination is notably due to the good weather. Conversely, rain drastically reduces the level of pollen present in the air.
The specialist recommends, in case of good weather, to ventilate late at night rather than during the day, to take a shower, to rinse your hair and to change your clothes as soon as you return home. But also to dry the laundry inside and not outside.
