Monitoring applications already available in “My health space”

Since the beginning of 2022, all French people have had a digital medical file shared between health professionals, called “My health space”. This tool currently being deployed aims to improve the quality of care.

This digital health book also has a catalog of applications dedicated to health, reports Capital. These are still few in number but the offer is gradually expanding. Twelve services have so far been authorized to appear on the list by the public authorities.

Handpicked apps

Among the tools already available, an application allows diabetics to follow their blood sugar and another offers a calendar of childhood vaccinations so that parents stay up to date. The Libheros app is used to manage home care, while another is for patients suffering from chronic illnesses, such as asthma.

No less than 150 new applications should soon join the catalog. “The objective is to help citizens find themselves in this bubbling, through a referencing process, with criteria of ethics, security and respect for the RGPD”, explained this Thursday Thomas Fatôme, director General Health Insurance.

Indeed, the Digital Health Agency (ANS) requires that each application meet 150 legal, technical, security or ethical criteria to be included in the catalog. “My health space” being the result of a partnership between public and private, not all applications will necessarily be free.
