In addition, it can also carry spacecraft from 12 to 44 metric tons into the Earth-Mars transfer orbit.

The heavy-lift rocket project has undergone more than 10 years of development since it was evaluated, said Liu Bing, deputy chief designer of the design department of the Chinese Academy of Launch Vehicle Technology, the rocket’s developer. .
