European Medicines Agency approves third dose of Pfizer vaccine for people over 18 years of age

The European Medicines Agency approved on Monday a third booster dose of the vaccine against COVID-19 by Pfizer / BioNTech for people over 18 years of age, concerned that protection will decrease after the first two injections.

“Comirnaty booster doses may be considered for people 18 years of age and older, at least six months after the second dose.”the EMA said in a statement, citing the brand name of the Pfizer vaccine.
