No deaths recorded in the past 24 hours, a first since July

Good news from the other side of the Channel. As the country worries about the rise in cases linked to the Delta variant, no deaths from the coronavirus have been recorded in the UK in 24 hours, a first since July 30, 2020, UK health services have said, this Tuesday.

According to the latest official report, the country – the most bereaved in Europe with 127,782 deaths in total – counted 3,165 additional cases of contamination on Tuesday (almost 4.5 million in total), an increase compared to previous weeks.
