“No proof” that vaccines cause blood clots, according to British regulator

There is “no evidence” that AstraZeneca and Pfizer / BioNTech’s coronavirus vaccines cause blood clots, or thromboses, the British regulator, the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), said. Thursday.

“Our extensive and careful examination, along with critical appraisal by leading independent scientists, shows that there is no evidence that blood clots in the veins occur more than one would expect in no vaccination, for either vaccine, ”June Raine, executive director of the MHRA, said in a statement.
