The Chinese colony in Peru celebrates its 173rd anniversary, which is why the Confucius Institute of the Pontifical Catholic University of Peru presents the cycle of interviews: “Chifa, families and culinary memory” by master Félix Loo, a specialist in Tusán cuisine and also in the experiences of the tusan families that for years have managed chifas in which they have combined tradition and innovation in culinary practices.
The institution whose mission is to spread the Chinese language and culture will provide an approach to the study of chifa as part of Peruvian gastronomy and identity. The event will be held from November 02 to 30 through the Zoom platform. This is the schedule:
