50 Best Latam 2022: these are the Peruvian restaurants chosen among the 100 best in the world

The wait ended and on November 3 the presentation of the extended list of the 50 Best Latam 2022 took place. The restaurants that were classified between positions 51 and 100 were announced and among them 3 Peruvian establishments stood out.

These restaurants, like the first 50, were chosen by the same 300 people who make up the qualifying jury for the 50 Best ranking, which will be announced in Yucatan, Mexico.

Peruvian gastronomy in all its splendor

La Mar, Isolina and Cosme were the three Peruvian restaurants included in the extended list in positions 82, 62 and 61 respectively. Last year they got the positions: 13, 24 and 69.

It should be mentioned that 2021 was a great year for Peru, the Central restaurant of Virgilio Martínez and Pía León was recognized as The Greatest Restaurant in Latin America 2013-2021. For its part, Maido, by Mitsuharu Tsumura, was ranked 2nd on the Latin America’s 50 Best Restaurants 2021 list. Gastón Acurio, owner of Astrid & Gastón, was ranked 4th. The 2022 edition will be held on the 15th of november.
