One of the most delicious snacks that we can find in summer is the raspadilla. Simple, sweet and refreshing, it is ideal to appease the heat that haunts us in these times. Therefore, a perfect idea to enjoy this weekend is the Ice Cream and Dessert Festival, which will be held on Friday the 17th, Saturday the 18th and Sunday the 19th of February, starting at 10 am, at the intersection of Av. La Molina with Javier Prado, in the district of La Molina.
This event brings together various recognized brands and also small businessmen, who will offer ice creams, scrapes and other frozen desserts that are not to be missed. Without a doubt, the raspadillas are one of the main attractions, since they offer syrups of fruits such as watermelon with lemon, mango, strawberry, passion fruit, lucuma, coconut, ice cream cheese, red fruits and pineapple, among others. The most curious flavors of syrups that can be found are lemon pie, pisco sour, drunken rum with raisins and peach or strawberry daiquiri.
section of sweets comes with an unmissable variety of Creole sweets such as the traditional purple mazamorra, ranfañote, sanguito, guargüero and strained beans. You can also find other delicacies such as apple pie, quinoa upside-down cream, chocolate cake, and fruit-based cakes such as banana, blueberry, and raspberry.
Inevitable in any event of this type are the picaroneswhich in this edition are prepared with ingredients such as carrots and beets, among others.
