Sweet potato cake recipe with a crunchy layer to give a different touch to the menu of the day

Ingredients:

  • 1/4 cup butter, cubed

  • 2 kg baked sweet potatoes
  • 1/3 cup orange juice
  • 3 tbsp butter
  • 1 1/2 tsp orange zest
  • 1/2 tsp kion grated
  • salt and pepper

preparation:

Put the flour, almonds, three tablespoons of sugar, cubed butter, and paprika in a food processor and mix to form a grainy dough. You can grind the almonds apart and then mix with the rest of the ingredients until you achieve the desired texture. Put in the refrigerator for an hour. Peel the baked sweet potatoes and press. Mix with the orange juice, the remaining sugar, two tablespoons of butter, the orange zest and the kion until you get a coarse-textured puree. Season.

With the remaining butter, grease a mold 30 centimeters long. Pour in the sweet potato puree, smooth the surface and top with the reserved batter. Bake in a preheated oven at 200 ° C for 40 minutes. Let stand for five minutes before serving.
