As the National Assembly prepares to “vote on a cross-party no-confidence vote, we are questioning the observance of the voting rights of deputies, guaranteed by Article 27 of the Constitution,” the opposition group points out.

To justify the opening of the commission of inquiry, the deputies refer, in particular, to “the stories of some parliamentarians who themselves witnessed calls received from the executive branch” and to “Aurora Berger’s declaration, in which the deputies of the Republic of Lithuania offered their support for the reform in exchange for financial obligations. from the state.”

On Sunday, the president of the Renaissance group (presidential majority) criticized the deputies of the Republic of Lithuania, who, according to her, came to “knock on the door of Matignon”, saying: “I am ready to vote for reform, on the other hand, you put 170 million euros on the table, to make a freeway detour. “Fortunately, the government said no,” she said.
